The Wall Lake Public Library shall serve, to the best of its ability, to provide books and other printed matter, and audio or visual materials. There shall be guidance in the search and use of these materials for reliable information, greater understanding and personal enjoyment.

The library, as a multipurpose organization, shall serve the whole person. To develop their many interests, there shall be provision for their cultural, informational and recreational needs. Our library shall be dedicated to providing service and giving aid to persons of all nationalities, age, sex or religious persuasion.

Information requested, that is not readily available, shall be acquired from other resources in an effort to be of service to the community and surrounding area.

The promotion of the library by staff and trustees in striving to meet the responsibilties of service and supplying materials shall be of prime importance.
